Blayke Brailey, the acting captain of the Sharks, has signed a significant four-year extension with the club, as reported by sharks.com.au. This deal allows Brailey to continue his journey at his childhood team until at least the end of 2030, building on a legacy that is close to his heart.

Currently under contract for the next season, this new arrangement secures Brailey's place in the Sharks' colors-black, white, and blue. He has strong ties to the region, having played his junior football for the Aquinas Colts in Sutherland Shire, where he fostered aspirations of playing for the Sharks at the highest level.

Since making his NRL debut in 2019, the 26-year-old hooker has played 160 matches for the club. His remarkable durability is highlighted by an impressive 126-match streak, showcasing his resilience on the field.

As he gears up to lead Cronulla into a fourth straight finals campaign, Brailey expressed his happiness about securing his future with a club that holds immense significance for him.
