Brailey hooks into mindset, unleashing try-tidal wave

The mindset shift behind Brailey's emergence as attacking threat

Blayke Brailey, the hooker for Cronulla, has attributed his significant improvement as an attacking threat during the first 11 weeks of the NRL season to a changed mindset.

According to reports from sharks.com.au, Brailey has reaped the benefits of Addin Fonua-Blake's arrival in the summer, aiding his performance.

Notably, he has matched last year's total of line-break assists in only 11 games and is on track for a career-high in try assists.

Brailey highlighted that "off-season conversations with Cronulla coach Craig Fitzgibbon and a confidence to think run-first have been the key to the changes." This shift in perspective has allowed him the opportunity to capitalize on quick play-the-balls, resulting in increased space around the ruck.

He finds this additional space invigorating, allowing him to exploit defensive gaps more effectively as he continues to evolve in his role.
