Brad Morkos: A New Challenge Awaits in Perth

Brad Morkos, an outside back, is poised to join the Perth Bears for their inaugural season after a successful return to the NSW Cup.

Previously a junior representative, Morkos was viewed as a promising player for the centres or the wing.

His talent sparked a contract rivalry between the St George Illawarra Dragons and the Canberra Raiders.

Ultimately, the former NSW under-19 representative opted for Canberra, making 40 appearances in the NSW Cup before unexpectedly leaving the sport at the end of 2023.

Since then, he has participated in local competitions and dabbled in Mixed Martial Arts but is now aiming for a spot on the Lebanese team for this year's World Cup.

Recently, Morkos has returned to the NSW Cup with the Dragons, playing two games without scoring, one as a centre and another on the wing.

According to reports from Wide World of Sports, The Mole, he is set to travel across the country to join the Perth Bears in 2027.

It remains unclear if he will sign on a development deal or claim one of the club's four remaining Top 30 positions.

The Bears are in need of standout talent, and Morkos' signing could be a compelling addition as the club aims to develop a competitive team in the coming years.
