In news that's sending shockwaves through the Rugby League world, former Parramatta Eels mastermind Brad Arthur has officially been appointed as the new head honcho at the Leeds Rhinos in the prestigious English Super League.

Arthur, who steered the Eels to a grand final in 2022 after a decade of blood, sweat, and tears in Western Sydney, was given the old heave-ho earlier this season due to a dismal 18 months of lackluster performance that saw the once mighty blue and gold plummet down the ladder.

With his sights set on one day returning to the NRL, Arthur is kicking off his comeback campaign across the pond in the Super League.

Stepping into the helm at the Rhinos, Arthur's tenure is set to run until the end of the 2024 season, with the future beyond that still shrouded in mystery as he takes over the reins from Rohan Smith.

Speaking on his new gig, Arthur described the opportunity to coach the Rhinos as a "once-in-a-lifetime chance" to showcase his skills on the global Rugby League stage.
