In a classic display of loyalty and dedication, Sydney Roosters lock, Egan Butcher, has secured his future at the Bondi club with a new contract extension.
Making his debut in 2021 after shining in the lower ranks, Butcher has proven himself worthy of a spot in the Roosters' line-up.
Following in the footsteps of his older brother, Nat Butcher, Egan is bouncing back from an ACL injury suffered last season, which unfortunately cut his year short.
Expressing his delight at continuing his journey with the Roosters, Butcher declared, "I bleed red, white, and blue and can't imagine playing anywhere else.
It's a dream come true to stay with this legendary club that has been my home since I was a young gun." With the deal keeping him in Roosters colors until the end of the 2027 NRL season, Butcher is eager to tackle whatever challenges come his way and contribute to the team's success on the field.
