During the NSW Blues' celebration of their victory in Game 1 of the 2025 State of Origin series, trainer Eddie Farah received a warning from referee Ashley Klein.
Reports from zerotackle.com and foxsports.com.au indicate that the incident occurred within the first five minutes of the second half.
Farah, brother of former Wests Tigers and NSW hooker Robbie Farah, kicked the ball away while the Queensland Maroons were poised to feed a scrum, leaving them with a one-man advantage just ten meters from the try-line.
Klein issued the warning as a disciplinary measure, reportedly stating, "Trainer, if you do that again, you will not come back on the field." Although it was only a warning, there were indications that Farah could face expulsion if he repeated the action.
