Blues stay true, ready for the final showdown

New South Wales Blues head coach Laurie Daley has confirmed that the team for Game 3 of the 2025 State of Origin series will remain unchanged.

Following a disappointing performance in Game 2 in Perth, Daley has chosen to retain the same 17 players for this crucial decider, aiming to secure a second consecutive series win.

Amid discussions about potential changes in the forward pack, names like Keaon Koloamatangi and Terrell May have frequently been mentioned.

However, both Stefano Utoikamanu and Max King, who were considered at risk of being dropped, have been kept in the squad.

The Blues will continue to rely on their established halfback pairing of Jarome Luai and Nathan Cleary, while Reece Robson will once again take the number nine jersey, despite calls for Apisai Koroisau to be included in the lineup.

Overall, Daley's decision to stick with the existing squad reflects his confidence in their ability to bounce back and deliver a strong performance in the series decider.
