The New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) has announced a strong squad for the Under-19s Women's State of Origin match scheduled for later this year in Queensland.
According to reports from zerotackle.com, the 20-player team includes seven former U19s NSW Blues representatives.
Notably, the squad features eight players from the Illawarra Steelers and five from the Parramatta Eels, the latter having recently secured the Tarsha Gale Cup title earlier this year.
The team will be coached by Courtney Crawford of the Illawarra Steelers and is set to enter training camp on Friday, June 13.
The players will prepare at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence leading up to their match in the Sunshine Coast.
