New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) has announced a 20-man squad for the upcoming Under-19s State of Origin match at the Sunshine Coast.

The squad includes five players from last year's U19s Blues team and three members-Jaxson Allen, Kanaan Magele, and Toby Rodwell-from the Sydney Roosters team that clinched the SG Ball Cup Grand Final.

The selected players represent some of the best young talent in rugby league; however, several notable individuals such as Aidan Gow, Lorenzo Talataina, Lincoln Fletcher, Simione Laiafi, Ryda Talagi, Itula Seve, and Jared Haywood were not chosen for the squad.

Canterbury Bulldogs' Jersey Flegg Cup coach, Josh Jackson, will take on the role of head coach for the Blues.

His coaching staff includes former NSW Blues players Dale Finucane, Josh Reynolds, and Trent Hodkinson.

The team is set to enter camp on Friday, June 13, before traveling to the Sunshine Coast on Monday, June 16.
