The NSW Sky Blues have announced their assistant coaches for the 2025 Women's State of Origin series, with Alicia-Kate Hawke and Ruan Sims joining head coach John Strange.
The trio will lead the team in their three-match series against the QLD Maroons in May.
Strange highlighted the skills and experience that both assistants bring to the team, noting their previous coaching roles in the NSW Women's Premiership and NRLW clubs.
Sims, in particular, has an impressive coaching background, having served as an assistant coach at the Cronulla Sharks NRLW and head coach of their Women's Premiership side, as well as leading NSW Country.
This will be Sims' fourth year as an assistant coach for the Blues, showcasing her expertise and dedication to women's rugby league.
