The NSW Blues have announced a 21-man squad for Game 2 of the 2026 State of Origin series.
However, Laurie Daley has created more questions than clarity by presenting the players in alphabetical order.
From the selection of halves to the choice of props, along with concerns for improvement after a disappointing Game 1, there are numerous talking points from the Blues' selection for Game 2.

Incorporating Mitchell Moses into the squad for Game 2 is a significant gamble for the Blues.
Laurie Daley appears to be well aware of this risk.
Among his 21-man roster, there are four halves, with Isaiya Katoa and Ethan Strange waiting in the wings should Moses be unable to play.
It's reasonable to question Daley's choice, especially if Moses takes on the five-eighth role, which is unfamiliar for him, in an untested pairing with Nathan Cleary.
Another point of contention is that Ethan Strange performed admirably in the series opener.
In fact, one could easily argue he was the standout player for the Blues on that day.
Removing him to make room for Mitchell Moses is a significant risk for Laurie Daley that could potentially lead to major repercussions.
