Get ready for a blast from the past as Laurie Daley is back in the game as the head honcho for the New South Wales Rugby League team for the upcoming 2025 State of Origin series.
The Blues have thrown a curveball by bringing on Craig Bellamy as part of Daley's coaching staff.
Daley, who previously led the Blues seven years ago, expressed his excitement at the press conference, declaring his unwavering commitment to the state.
"I'm thrilled to be back in the driver's seat for New South Wales.
It's been a while, but my heart has always been with the Blues," Daley shared.
With a two-year contract in hand, Daley is set to steer the Blues through the 2025 and 2026 series with Bellamy by his side.
"I'm honored to be entrusted with this role.
Michael Maguire set the bar high last year, and we're determined to build on his legacy," Daley added confidently.
After a promising performance last year, Daley is optimistic about the future of New South Wales Rugby League.
"We've got some good momentum going, and we're hungry to showcase the best of the state on the field," he remarked, hinting at a potential resurgence in the team's performance.
