The New South Wales (NSW) coach John Strange is emphasizing the importance of avoiding complacency as the Blues prepare for the final match of the Women's State of Origin series against Queensland's Maroons.

Having already secured a historic series victory with a 26-6 win in Origin II, this is the first time the Blues have won a multi-game Women's State of Origin series.

The concluding match will take place in Newcastle on Thursday night.

Strange highlighted the team's focus on maintaining their performance level, stating, "We've spoken about [avoiding complacency] as soon as we got back into camp.

It's about us and putting a really good performance out there on the field.

If we don't do that, we'll be disappointed irrespective of the result." The emphasis is on the Blues delivering a strong showing, irrespective of having already clinched the series.
