In a tightly contested race for the Zero Tackle's 2025 State of Origin MVP, New South Wales winger Brian To'o has narrowly secured the title with just a one-vote lead over Tom Dearden.
Dearden showcased a stellar performance in Game 3, achieving a perfect score of 20 votes, but ultimately fell short in overtaking To'o, who had accumulated significant votes in the previous two games.
As a result, To'o remains at the top of the leaderboard, with Dearden now just a single vote behind.
Blues prop Payne Haas maintains his position in third place.
In Game 3, several players joined Dearden at the top, including Harry Grant, Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, and debutant Gehamat Shibasaki, among others.
Players like Patrick Carrigan, Hamniso Tabuai-Fidow, Josh Papali'i, and Xavier Coates also received votes during this crucial match.
The voting for the MVP was conducted by a panel consisting of Zero Tackle founder Matt Clements, writers Ethan Lee Chalk and Dan Nichols, along with editor Scott Pryde.
They used a 5-4-3-2-1 voting system to evaluate performances across the State of Origin series.
