'Be the Best Coach I've Ever Had, No Doubt': Lomax Throws Final Barbs at Flanno as Star Lauds Blues Legend

Zac Lomax has delivered a sly parting shot at his former coach while opening up about his decision to switch teams from the Dragons to the Eels.

According to reports from news.com.au, the incoming Eels recruit had already made up his mind to leave the Dragons long before the 2024 season began.

In April, Lomax inked a four-year deal with Parramatta, cutting ties with the Red V despite having a contract that extended to 2026.

Many speculate that Shane Flanagan's move to shift him to the wing played a significant role in his choice.

During an interview with Triple M, Lomax revealed that his departure was a foregone conclusion "before the first whistle blew."

"I knew I wouldn't be sticking around at St George, but personally...

I just stayed focused and trained my hardest," he shared.
