In a thrilling match at Accor Stadium, Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles secured their spot in the NSW Cup Finals with a dominant 32-22 victory over the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Despite trailing 18-10 at halftime, the Sea Eagles showed great determination and resilience, running in six tries to four to secure their first finals berth since the 2015 season.

The Sea Eagles made their intentions clear in the early stages of the second half, scoring two quick tries within the first ten minutes.

This display of aggression and hunger set the tone for the rest of the match, as they took the lead for the first time in the 41st minute.

The momentum continued to swing in their favor, with Jake Toby and Ben Condon adding two more tries in a five-minute span at the hour mark, ultimately sealing the victory.

One of the key factors that contributed to Blacktown's success was the inclusion of first-grade player Josh Schuster at five-eighth, alongside halfback Jamie Humphreys.

Schuster made a significant impact on the game, finishing with three try assists and a remarkable 40/20 kick.

His presence on the field added a level of experience and skill that proved vital for the Sea Eagles.

Winger Clayton Faulalo also played a crucial role in the victory, scoring two tries and taking his total for the season to an impressive 29.

This achievement makes him the first player since the 2016 NSW Cup season to reach that milestone, highlighting his exceptional form and contribution to the team.

In addition to Schuster and Faulalo's standout performances, the Sea Eagles also had the late additions of Dean Matterson, James Uesele, Nathaniel Roache, and Zac Fulton.

Despite being without their captain, Gordon Chan Kum Tong, who was preparing for his NRL debut, the team showed great depth and resilience, rising to the occasion and securing their place in the finals.

Overall, Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles' victory over the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs was a testament to their determination, teamwork, and individual brilliance.

As they set their sights on the NSW Cup Finals, they will be looking to build on their strong performance and continue to make a statement in the competition.
