The Blacktown Workers Sera Eagles have clinched back-to-back wins in The Knock-On Effect Cup with a hard-fought 14-10 triumph over the Newtown Jets at Henson Park on Saturday.

In a game marked by slippery conditions, the Sea Eagles displayed true grit to secure their fourth victory of the season, propelling them into seventh place in the rankings after seven rounds.

Despite an early try from Newtown's Daniel Atkinson, the Sea Eagles rallied back with a try from centre Clayton Faulalo, narrowing the score to 6-4 at the 26-minute mark.

A crucial try from winger Raymond Tuaimalo just before half-time, followed by a successful conversion, pushed the Blacktown Workers ahead with a 10-6 lead going into the break.

The team capitalized on Newtown's loss of centre Addison Demetriou to the sin bin, with hooker Kobe Rugless scoring another try for a 14-6 lead by the 56th minute.

Although the Jets managed to score a try by Jordin Leiu, bringing the score to 14-10 in the final tense minutes, the Blacktown Workers dug deep and held on to secure the win.

With this solid performance, the Sea Eagles are proving themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the competition, showing true Aussie spirit and determination on the field.
