Rising Brisbane Broncos star, Coby Black, has put pen to paper on a new contract, securing his future with the club for the next two seasons.

Considered the heir apparent to Adam Reynolds, Black is set to take the reins as the Broncos' next halfback once Reynolds decides to retire.

A product of the Queensland rugby league system, Black caught the eye of the Broncos at the tender age of 12.

With guidance from seasoned pros like Issac Luke, Darren Nicholls, Nathan Cleary, and Sean O'Sullivan, Black has honed his skills and emerged as a promising talent in the sport.

Although he has yet to make his NRL debut, Black has been making waves in the QLD Cup with the Souths Logan Magpies.

His standout performance earlier this year, where he scored a whopping 46 points in a single match in the Mal Meninga Cup, showcased his potential on the field.

Initially on a development contract until the end of the current season, Black has extended his stay with the Broncos until the 2026 NRL season.

This new deal cements his commitment to the club and sets the stage for him to shine on the big stage in the years to come.
