Roosters centre Billy Smith's availability for the upcoming match against arch rivals South Sydney remains uncertain following an e-bike incident on Thursday afternoon.
According to sources who wish to remain anonymous, Smith was riding an e-bike in the Moore Park area, alongside teammate Egan Butcher, when they encountered an accident.
While Butcher emerged from the incident with minor injuries, a witness reported that Smith sustained a head injury and was evaluated by the club doctor shortly thereafter.
The Roosters have not yet made a determination on whether Smith will be fit to participate in the derby against the Rabbitohs. This incident adds to the unfortunate streak for the 26-year-old, who has only played 46 games due to persistent injury issues.
