Four editions of Big League have been confirmed for 2025 in what can only be described as a real 'try-scoring spree' for rugby league fans.
According to zerotackle.com, commonly known as 'the rugby league bible' in its heyday before the COVID pandemic sidelined the publication, Big League was a weekly rugby league print that could be found at grounds and newsagents.
It was a real game-changer, featuring key stories and narratives, as well as match programs with full team lists for all sides playing within a round.
The NRL made a bold move when they purchased the magazine and brought it back as a one-off edition for the 2024 NRL and NRLW grand final day, where the State Championship clash between the NSW and QLD Cup winners added to the already high stakes.
Following the success of this revival, the NRL has now locked in six editions of the beloved magazine for 2025, creating some real 'scrumptious' content for fans.
These editions will be produced for Las Vegas (Round 1), Magic Round in Brisbane, each of the State of Origin battles, and grand final day, proving that this magazine is back in the game for good.
