Rocco Berry, a promising player in the NRL, is finally getting the chance to showcase his skills on the rugby league stage.

Since his debut in first-grade two years ago, Berry has faced numerous challenges, including working under different head coaches and battling through various injuries.

The pandemic also hindered his progress as the club was unable to field a reserve-grade side, limiting his playing opportunities.

However, this season has provided Berry with his first consistent run of games, and he has seized the opportunity to become the team's first-choice right centre under coach Andrew Webster.

In a recent clash against the Newcastle Knights, Berry outperformed Origin star Bradman Best, scoring a try and successfully fulfilling his defensive duties against the Knights' formidable left-side attack.

The 22-year-old credits his growing confidence to playing alongside experienced edge partners such as Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Shaun Johnson, and Marata Niukore.

With a healthy body and a supportive coaching staff, Berry is proving himself as a valuable asset in the NRL.
