Bennett makes call on Galvin, injured stars

Wayne Bennett has confirmed that Cody Walker and Campbell Graham are fit to play in the upcoming Good Friday clash against the Bulldogs, with Englishman Lewis Dodd set to make his debut off the bench.

Bennett revealed that Dodd is part of a strong group of halves at the Rabbitohs, hinting at potential interest in Lachlan Galvin when he leaves the Wests Tigers.

Despite concerns over Walker's hamstring injury and Graham's absence in recent weeks, both players have been cleared to start in front of a potential crowd of 70,000 at Accor Stadium, with Graham starting on the wing.

The spotlight will be on Dodd, who will finally make his NRL debut after signing a three-year deal with the club in 2024.

Bennett did not disclose how he plans to utilize the young halfback, who missed earlier opportunities due to suspensions in the pre-season and NSW Cup.

However, injuries and suspensions to other playmakers have created a chance for Dodd to showcase his skills in his first game for the Rabbitohs.
