New head coach Benji Marshall is overseeing the pre-season training of the Wests Tigers as they prepare for the 2024 NRL season.
The team is working hard at the Zurich Centre of Excellence in Concord during their pre-Christmas training block.
The training group consists of 26 players, including top-30, development, and train and trial players.
Many of these players have previously been teammates in junior representative teams.
The majority of the players at the first session were local juniors, highlighting the club's focus on pathways and development.
The club's investment in this long-term process is already yielding positive results, with seven players from the Western Suburbs team, which won the Harold Matthews Cup 18 months ago, now training with the first-grade squad.
All seven players have either signed top-30 or development contracts or are expected to do so in the near future.
