Bellamy Jokes After Grant's Stellar Performance

‘Before he broke his leg’: Bellamy’s cheeky dig at Grant injury amid Storm masterclass

Bellamy's Light-hearted Remark on Grant's Injury During Storm's Victory

Craig Bellamy took a playful jab at skipper Harry Grant after a stellar game, where Grant eased concerns about his injury during the Storm's impressive 52-4 victory over the Eels in Round 1.

In a performance that led Andrew Voss to declare him better than Cameron Smith, Grant showcased remarkable skill against the Eels, making it tough to contest that claim.

Although Grant left the field due to what appeared to be a serious leg injury, Bellamy addressed concerns post-game with a humorous comment aimed at his captain.

"He did there in the first half, we were happy he did before he broke his leg," Bellamy quipped when asked about Grant's control in the game.

"Oh that's right cramp, I thought he broke his leg, so we got him off, but it was only a cramp, so we were very lucky there."

"He did a great job. That try was the second try we scored that was really important to us and there wouldn't be too many dummyhalves that can score a try in that situation."
