Storm Urges Bellamy to Decide on Coaching Future

The Melbourne Storm is eager to prompt Craig Bellamy to make a decision about his coaching future, with hopes of retaining the legendary coach for a 25th season.

In recent years, Bellamy has taken his time deciding whether to continue in his role, and the club has been accommodating, allowing him ample time to weigh his options.

After Bellamy delayed signing for the current season until June, Storm chief executive Justin Rodski indicated that they won't be waiting until mid-2026 for a decision this time around.

"We're talking to Craig about that at the moment," the club boss said.

"He's obviously been on holidays up in Coolangatta, enjoying some time off as he should.

"When he returns in the next week or so, we'll sit down with him and hopefully look at what extending him for at least another year looks like."

Rodski expressed the club's desire to secure Bellamy for the 2027 season, marking his 25th year with the team.
