James Bracey recently provided an insightful update on the Perth Bears' preparations for their 2027 NRL debut.
The new franchise, which will be the league's 18th team, is currently in an active phase of building its roster.
Bracey, who is both a host for Nine and a director for the Bears, revealed that interest from players is already significant.
He noted, "I've already had people knocking on my door...
I never thought I'd be getting calls from player agents.
There are players who are keen to get over there and be a part of the franchise.
So, I'm confident that we can make it happen."
He emphasized the importance of the Bears starting strong with their inaugural season.
Bracey's optimism reflects his belief that the team will be well-prepared to make an impressive entry into the league.
