The Perth Bears have bolstered their recruitment efforts in anticipation of their inaugural NRL season by signing promising young outside back Luke Laulilii to a two-year contract.

Laulilii is now the 13th player to join the Bears for their debut 2027 season, marking a significant milestone for the club as it lays the groundwork for its first NRL team.

At just 19 years old, he stands as the youngest addition to the Bears' growing roster.

After finalizing his contract, Laulilii expressed excitement about the opportunity to advance his skills in Perth.

"The Perth Bears provide an opportunity for me to continue to develop my game and take it to the next level," Laulilii said.

"I'm excited about the prospect of playing in front of the fans in Perth. I know how much they love their sport and it's a privilege to be part of a rugby league team that represents the people of Western Australia."
