Batten Named in Australian Schoolboys Squad
Young Dolphins halfback Toby Batten has been announced as a member of the Australian Schoolboys squad, according to a report by dolphinsnrl.com.au.
Batten, who serves as the captain of Nambucca Heads High School, recently signed with the NRL's newest club and is poised for a promising future within the Dolphins' development program.
Additionally, teammates Sangster Figota, Duquan Talaepa (from Queensland), and Rielly Laverty (from New South Wales) showcased commendable performances throughout the week.
However, fellow Dolphins players Cody Starr and Brian Pouniu, who were selected to represent Queensland, have unfortunately had to withdraw due to injuries.
