The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have made their intentions clear by officially presenting their NRLW licence application to the National Rugby League (NRL).

The application is seen as a significant step towards securing a place in the upcoming competition expansion.

According to bulldogs.com.au, the Bulldogs have submitted their application to the NRLW.

While the NRL has not yet announced the approval timeline for new teams, the Bulldogs have shown their readiness and eagerness to embrace the responsibilities and opportunities that come with an NRLW licence.

The Club has invested heavily in its female Academy programs, recruiting top-tier staff and coaching positions, and organizing various development initiatives over the past 12 to 18 months to ensure they are fully prepared for NRLW entry.

The bid focuses on the Bulldogs' rich history, which includes eight Premiership titles and a commitment to unity through rugby league.

The vision is clear: to elevate the women's game, provide opportunities for aspiring young females to participate, develop, excel, and compete on a national stage, all while encouraging involvement in the game at all levels.
