In a heart-stopping finish, the Roosters managed to sneak ahead with a late field goal, securing a narrow victory over the Bulldogs in a classic Rugby League showdown.

Despite a valiant effort from the Bulldogs Cup squad, they fell just short of claiming the win.

The match kicked off with Bulldogs centre Eli Clark crossing the try line early on, putting the Bulldogs ahead by four points in a move reminiscent of some of the greats of the game.

Jonathan Sua then showed his skill by breaking through the Roosters defense to extend the Bulldogs' lead to ten points, displaying the kind of finesse that Rugby League legends are made of.

Winger Jordi Mazzone continued the Bulldogs' scoring spree, outpacing the Roosters defenders to cross over and increase the lead to 14-4.

However, the Roosters fought back with a try just before halftime, setting the stage for a thrilling second half in true Rugby League fashion.

The Roosters came out firing in the second half, with Ethan King scoring his second try of the match to narrow the gap to just four points.

In a tense and tight last few minutes, the Roosters managed to pull ahead with a clutch field goal, leaving the Bulldogs Cup squad rueing missed opportunities and vowing to come back stronger in their next game.
