After 10 consecutive sell-outs at Go Media Stadium, the NZ Warriors will meet the Newcastle Knights at Eden Park on Sunday.
More than 48,000 spectators are expected, creating the largest crowd for a Warriors home match and any rugby league game in New Zealand.
Visitors from across Aotearoa and Australia are expected, while accommodation and hospitality businesses prepare for exceptional demand.
"We're so humbled seeing the outpouring of love and support for the team and for the club," said Warriors chief executive Cameron George.
Auckland landmarks will celebrate the occasion by displaying the club's blue, red and green colours throughout the weekend.
They include the Vector Lights on Auckland Harbour Bridge, Sky Tower, New Zealand Maritime Museum, Westfield Newmarket, PwC building and Viaduct Seawall.
Warriors flags are already flying in Ponsonby and Kingsland, where hospitality venues expect large numbers of supporters.
Auckland mayor Wayne Brown said, "The city is electric with excitement over this weekend's match."
He added that the City Rail Link's full operation should make travel from central Auckland seamless.
Tātaki Auckland Unlimited chief executive Nick Hill said the back-to-back finals weekends showed Auckland could host major occasions.
He said moving the match to Eden Park demonstrated how the stadium network could expand capacity when demand required it.
Match tickets include free train and bus travel to Eden Park from 1.00pm Sunday.
Supporters are encouraged to arrive early for the atmosphere and activities, including a Fan Zone on the stadium's Outer Oval.
