Shaun Wane's England team continued their dominance in the series against Tonga, taking a 2-0 lead with one game remaining.

Despite the series win being secured, Wane made it clear that the final match at Headingley would not be a dead rubber.

Wane, known for his demanding coaching style, took personal offense to comments made by Tonga's head coach, Kristian Woolf, and captain, Addin Fonua-Blake, following the first match.

Woolf criticized the pitch and the speed of the ruck, while Fonua-Blake claimed that England did not win, but rather Tonga lost.

These comments clearly upset Wane, who expressed his disappointment and demanded respect for his players.

In the second match, played in rainy conditions, England once again outperformed Tonga.

Despite struggling with ball-handling due to the weather, England managed the game better and capitalized on Tonga's turnovers.

Matty Ashton's two first-half tries proved to be the difference in the match, securing another victory for England.

While their attack was not exceptional, England's ability to adapt to the difficult conditions gave them the edge over their opponents.

With one game remaining, Wane and his team will be determined to maintain their dominance and prove their superiority over Tonga.
