Former Parramatta Eels and current Leeds Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur has reportedly been approached regarding a coaching role at the struggling Gold Coast Titans.
According to zerotackle.com, Arthur, whose contract with Leeds expires at the end of the year, has been non-committal about staying in England and has publicly expressed a desire to return to Australia, where his sons, Matt and Jakob, play rugby league for the Newcastle Knights and Manly Sea Eagles, respectively.
Arthur was dismissed by the Eels in mid-2022 but continued coaching with Leeds throughout 2024 and subsequently signed a one-year extension to stay on in 2025.
However, reports from News Corp indicate that his management has reached out to the Titans about a potential return to Australia.
During his tenure with the Eels, Arthur led the team to one grand final, contributing significantly to the club's recent success.
He was also a candidate for the upcoming Perth Bears job as they prepare to join the league in 2027 but has reportedly missed out to Mal Meninga, with other names like Sam Burgess and Kevin Walters also considered for the role.
