Anzac Day battle will miss half back star

Tyson Gamble will not be playing in the upcoming Anzac Day fixture against the New Zealand Warriors due to a broken nose he sustained during the NRL Round 7 clash against the Sharks.

He has undergone surgery and is aiming to be available for selection in Round 9.

In addition, Jacob Saifiti, Jack Hetherington, and Adam Elliott are continuing their rehabilitation in Newcastle and are expected to be available for selection in the near future.

Dylan Lucas, who returns from a hamstring injury, will be playing in the Anzac Day encounter.

"Tyson Gamble has been ruled out of Friday's Anzac Day fixture against the New Zealand Warriors in Christchurch, New Zealand."

"Gamble suffered a broken nose in the 29th minute of the NRL Round 7 clash against the Sharks."

"Jacob Saifiti, Jack Hetherington and Adam Elliott have remained in Newcastle to continue their rehabilitation and are also expected to be available for selection in the coming weeks."
