Manly Warringah Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has announced the 22-man squad for the upcoming Round 8 match against the Panthers.
Fullback Tom Trbojevic will be returning to the No.1 jersey after recovering from a knee injury in Round 4.
Lehi Hopoate will move to the wing to accommodate his return, while Tommy Talau has been named on the interchange bench.
Prop Josh Aloiai and edge forward Corey Waddell are also back for Manly, with Jazz Tevaga filling in for the injured Jake Trbojevic at lock and Jake Simpkin starting at hooker.
Jake Trbojevic will be missing from the lineup due to the mandatory 11-day stand-down period after failing his HIA in Round 7.
The team is looking forward to having their key players back in action as they face the Panthers at CommBank Stadium.
The coach expressed his excitement about having Trbojevic back in the lineup, stating that he is a crucial player for the team.
Seibold said, "Tom is a game-changer and brings a lot of energy to the team.
His return will certainly bolster the backline and boost the attacking options."
The return of Aloiai and Waddell will also provide a much-needed boost to the forward pack.
Seibold mentioned, "Having Josh and Corey back is a big plus for us.
They bring a lot of experience and physicality to the team, which will be important against a tough Panthers side."
In addition to the returning players, Hopoate's versatility allows him to contribute effectively in different positions on the field.
Seibold praised Hopoate's work ethic, saying, "Lehi has been a consistent performer for us and he has shown that he can adapt to different roles within the team.
His presence on the wing will add depth to the backline."
Overall, the Sea Eagles are looking forward to a competitive match against the Panthers with a strong squad at their disposal.
The team is determined to secure a win and continue their momentum in the NRL competition.
