Anthony Griffin, a seasoned former NRL coach, has secured a new head coaching position.
The 58-year-old boasts an impressive track record with 231 matches under his belt as a head coach in the NRL, having led the Brisbane Broncos from 2011 to 2014, the Penrith Panthers from 2016 to 2018, and the St George Illawarra Dragons from 2021 to 2023. He is now appointed as the head coach of Eastwood Rugby, a team competing in the Shute Shield competition.
This transition to rugby union comes as Griffin plans to shift codes in 2024, building on his previous role as the club's Director of Rugby.
