Lehi Hopoate is set to make his NRL debut on Friday night, joining his five siblings in the elite ranks of rugby league.

The youngest of eight children of former Manly legend John Hopoate, Lehi will follow in the footsteps of his brothers Will, Albert, and Jamil, as well as his sister Kalosipani who has made her mark in the NRLW.

Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold is confident in Lehi's abilities, noting his speed and energy on the field.

With Tom Trbojevic out due to injury, Lehi will step up at fullback for the team, proving himself in the absence of the superstar custodian.

"It's a special moment for the Hopoate family," Seibold commented.

"Lehi has shown great potential during the pre-season and his hard work has paid off.

We took him to Vegas for a taste of the big leagues, and he's ready to make his mark."

The Hopoate family will make history as the first to have five siblings competing at the NRL level in the 21st century.

With a rich rugby league legacy and a new star on the rise, the Hopoate dynasty continues to shine in the world of Australian sport.
