Andy Ackers has reflected on his transition to Leeds Rhinos from Salford Red Devils, describing it as a "massive" moment in his career.

Following his move ahead of the 2024 Betfred Super League season, he expressed his enjoyment of playing for a "massive organisation" like Leeds.

Since joining, Ackers has made 31 appearances but faced a setback due to a hamstring tear in March.

Leeds Rhinos have experienced an inconsistent start to the season, winning five out of their first nine matches.

Despite the challenges, Ackers is optimistic about returning to the team and contributing to their playoff ambitions.

He shared his thoughts on The Bench, stating, "I think Leeds is a brilliant organisation.

I absolutely love it here.

Sometimes, especially when I first came, it was like a lot of pressure.

It's no disrespect to Salford, but Salford's a lot smaller club than Leeds.

Leeds is a massive organisation."
