Andrew Johns is calling on Manly to find a replacement for Daly Cherry-Evans, but the Sea Eagles are not looking at Lachlan Galvin despite interest from other NRL teams in signing the exiled Tiger.

Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov confirmed talks with Jamal Fogarty's management to assess his future, indicating a focus on nurturing lower grade playmakers Joey Walsh and Onitoni Large instead of pursuing Galvin.

Mestrov stated, "That's not on the radar at the moment...

We've been pretty clear about the succession plan for the halves and the pathways coaches are doing a wonderful job bringing those two young blokes along." Manly is sticking to their plan to develop young players and will not be pursuing Galvin, even if he becomes available.

Galvin's standoff with the Tigers has caught the attention of other clubs, with potential interest from up to six rivals if he is released early.

However, Manly is not among those looking to sign him, staying committed to their current strategy.
