Rugby league legend Andrew Johns has a word of advice for Cameron Munster after a shocking revelation about Cameron Smith.
The immortal of the sport warns that if Munster's injury isn't handled properly, it could be game over for his NRL career.
Johns, a Newcastle Knights legend, has urged Melbourne to take Munster to a specialist in Sydney to tackle his troublesome groin issue.
The crafty five-eighth has been sidelined since slipping in the shower and aggravating the injury during the club's trip to Fiji.
Having dealt with his own groin issues during his playing days at the Knights, Johns cautioned Munster that if he doesn't address the problem, it could spell the end of his NRL career.
"It's gonna be a tough road for him.
He's hitting that age milestone of 30," Johns shared on Wide World of Sports' Immortal Behaviour.
"I had a chat with Munster in the sheds last week, and he was playing around a bit.
I had to tell him, 'mate, this could be it for you if you don't take it seriously'."
Johns is adamant that Munster should visit Sydney-based osteopath Kay Macpherson, who helped him with a similar injury two decades ago.
According to the NRL immortal, groin injuries are the most debilitating and can strike without warning.
In the world of rugby league, injuries can sideline even the best players, but proper care and treatment can make all the difference.
It's now up to Munster to heed Johns' advice and tackle his injury head-on to secure his future in the NRL.
