This marks Fifita's first foray into coaching within the NSWRL pathways, with his only prior coaching experience being with the De La Salle Under 10s girls.

With a career that includes two tries in 10 State of Origin clashes from 2013 to 2017, as well as representing Tonga in 10 games and Australia in seven internationals, Fifita brings a wealth of experience to his coaching role.
