Cameron Munster has become a prominent figure in the NRL transfer rumors lately, with discussions surrounding a possible early exit. The buzz has been fueled by the upcoming launch of the Perth Bears, who are reportedly interested in acquiring Munster as a marquee player.
Reports suggest that the proposed 18th NRL team might offer nearly $2 million annually for the 31-year-old star. However, Munster's manager, Braith Anasta, clarified the situation regarding the five-eighth's future. "Cameron doesn't want to leave Melbourne and Melbourne don't want to let him go," Anasta stated on NRL 360.
He emphasized, "At the moment, it's all just speculation." Meanwhile, Storm coach Craig Bellamy mentioned that he wouldn't be upset if Munster sought an early release from his contract.
