Addo-Carr tackled by NRL breach notice scandal

Josh Addo-Carr, the Canterbury Bulldogs' lightning-fast winger, has found himself in hot water with the NRL after a recent off-field incident.

The fleet-footed star, who is set to become a free agent at the end of 2025, faced the music at Belmore after failing a roadside test.

Initially, Canterbury's director of football, Phil Gould, took to social media to defend Addo-Carr, claiming that the speedster had done no wrong.

However, as the days passed, the situation became cloudier.

Now, the NRL has taken matters into their own hands by slapping Addo-Carr with a breach notice.

"The National Rugby League (NRL) today issued Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs player Josh Addo-Carr with a Breach Notice alleging a breach of the NRL Code of Conduct," the NRL stated.

It remains to be seen how this incident will impact Addo-Carr's future with the Bulldogs and in the NRL at large.

The winger will need to navigate this stormy situation with poise and professionalism to come out on top.
