In a monumental shake-up, the Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership is set to experience a game-changing transformation in 2024.

As the competition undergoes its most significant change to date, the NRLW's season will align with the women's premier league, providing a golden ticket for aspiring female rugby league players.

This strategic move will undoubtedly increase the opportunities for these talented athletes to pursue their dreams of a professional rugby league career.

Since its inception in 2005, the NSW Women's Premiership has steadily evolved, reaching its current format in 2017.

Now, with the addition of powerhouse teams Parramatta Eels and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, the competition will skyrocket to new heights with a total of 12 teams competing.

As the NRLW competition kicks off on July 25th, the NSW Women's Premiership will follow suit mid-season, creating a seamless and unrivaled pathway into the NRLW.

Just as The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup provides a stepping stone into the NRL, this synchronized format will undoubtedly revolutionize the female rugby league landscape.
