The NZ Warriors celebrated a significant milestone as they played their 300th match at their home ground, Go Media Stadium Mt Smart.

This achievement was delayed by three years due to the Covid pandemic era, but it adds to the long list of memorable moments and achievements in the current season.

Just two weeks earlier, the club celebrated their 700th match overall with a victory against the Wests Tigers at FMG Waikato Stadium in Hamilton.

Since the first match at the venue on March 19, 1995, which was against Brisbane, Go Media Stadium has witnessed 171 wins, a draw, and 127 losses.

With a winning strike rate of slightly over 57 percent, the Warriors' home ground record compares favorably with many other clubs.

However, there is one venue that surpasses this rate among the venues where the Warriors have played more than once - the old Sydney Football Stadium.

The Warriors had an impressive winning strike rate of almost 60 percent from the 26 matches played there.

The 299 games played at Go Media Stadium are filled with a plethora of unforgettable moments and contests, many of which have occurred in the remarkable 2023 campaign.

The Warriors have created a strong connection with their home ground, and it has become a symbol of their resilience and determination.

As they mark this milestone, players Shaun Johnson and Tohu Harris also achieve personal milestones, adding to the significance of the occasion.

The Warriors' journey at Go Media Stadium Mt Smart reflects their rich history and the passion of their fans.

It is a testament to the club's commitment and dedication over the years.

While the Covid pandemic may have caused delays and challenges, the Warriors have continued to thrive and make their mark on the rugby league world.

As they celebrate their 300th match at their beloved home ground, the Warriors look forward to many more memorable moments in the future.
