The rugby league season is rapidly approaching, with only a few weeks left until trials and competitions like SG Ball bring the excitement of the game back to the screens.
Each season presents an opportunity to make bold predictions, which can either lead to glory or embarrassment. This year, there are significant forecasts to make, including potential Premiers and Dally M winners.

50. Laurie Daley exits Origin arena (again)
I refuse to let this one go. Laurie Daley's return to the NSW coaching position is an all-time clanger. The Blues were beaten in 2025's Origin series, despite having two chances to retain the shield. Daley's game plan was awful, his selections were mind boggling, and I have zero shame in saying he was responsible for the series loss.
