The dream has finally come true for the proud Lachlan Ilias as he dons the Red V jersey at dragons.com.au.
It feels like just yesterday when a young 10-year-old Ilias witnessed the Dragons triumph over the Roosters in the 2010 NRL Grand Final - a memory that fueled his passion for the game.
With 53 NRL games and three Test matches already under his belt at just 24 years old, Ilias is no stranger to the rigors of professional rugby league.
But now, wearing the iconic red and white of the Dragons brings his journey full circle, back to the colors he admired as a wide-eyed youngster at Homebush.
The Greek international received a warm welcome at the club, getting the chance to participate in the annual Robert Stone Memorial Golf Day in his very first week.
It was a fitting introduction for Ilias, who is now set to make his mark with the Dragons on the field.
As the saying goes in the world of rugby league, it's time for Ilias to show his true colors and prove himself in the Red V jersey.
With his experience and skill, he is sure to become a valuable asset to the team as they strive for success in the upcoming season.
