Leeds Rhinos forward Morgan Gannon has announced his move to the NRL, where he will join the New Zealand Warriors in 2026.

According to reports from zerotackle.com, Gannon is part of a talented group of young English forwards transitioning to the NRL and will sign a three-year deal with the Warriors.

He will relocate to Auckland for the 2026 pre-season and remain with the team until at least the end of 2028, aiming to strengthen the edge for coach Andrew Webster's squad.

Warriors general manager of recruitment Andrew McFadden expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, "Morgan is a quality young forward and we're excited to add him to the roster for 2026 and beyond." He further noted the increasing influence of players from the Super League in the NRL, emphasizing Gannon's potential impact.
