Walters out Reece Walsh skips Broncos awards

Former Brisbane Broncos coach Kevin Walters decided to skip the Broncos' awards night after his unexpected sacking.

The event, which took place on Thursday, saw two key players, Reece Walsh and Ezra Mam, address the recent commotion surrounding their Bali getaway.

The dynamic duo made a bold return to the awards night amidst the media storm caused by two separate incidents during their vacation.

Walsh found himself in the hospital after a gnarly surfing mishap, while Mam got caught up in a scuffle at a local nightclub.

The NRL Integrity Unit, known for taking no prisoners when it comes to off-field drama, decided to bide their time before addressing the Bali brouhaha.

Thankfully, after the players jetted back Down Under, it was deemed that no further action was necessary.

Mam even took matters into his own hands by footing the bill for a phone allegedly damaged during the nightclub showdown.

The whole ordeal was as tense as a tight game of footy, but in the end, the NRL ruled in favor of the Broncos boys.

As Walters chooses to sit out the celebrations, it's clear that the drama Down Under is far from over.

But as any true footy fan knows, it's all part of the game.
