Rising star halfback Ronald Volkman has officially inked a deal with the Parramatta Eels to make his comeback in the NRL.
The contract details have been exposed, with Zero Tackle breaking the news that it's just a train and trial opportunity for Volkman.
This means he'll need to pull up his socks and put in the hard yards if he wants a shot at a permanent spot in the upcoming season.
Volkman's recent rugby league journey has been a rollercoaster ride, with a rough patch at the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024.
After playing five NRL games and earning a Test cap with the Warriors, he was let go by the Auckland team in 2024.
He then thought he had found a new home with the St George Illawarra Dragons, but it turned out the contract never got the green light from the NRL and a failed medical examination dashed his hopes.
Now, Volkman is ready to dust himself off and prove his worth once again with the Eels.
It's time for him to show everyone what he's made of and fight for his spot in the top-tier competition.
With determination and hard work, he just might have a chance to make a name for himself in the rugby league world once more.
